Here at Base Campers®, we supply and fit high-quality and durable camper van flooring. Our fitters have vast experience in commercial and domestic flooring, which allows for us to achieve a high-quality finish. We fit Altro ContraX flooring as standard on all our conversions, giving you a hard-wearing, safe, non-slip base for your next exploration.
We try to be as flexible as possible. We have a wide variety of colours and styles, so feel free to contact us if you have a particular spec or style in mind. We can also supply and fit rubber or vinyl design tiles as part of your camper van conversion. The process
We start by removing any existing flooring, and then clean and prepare the subfloor, you will be amazed at how much can get under those old boards! Then new ply is installed, with an insulating membrane underneath. The top surface is prepared and the floor covering of your choice is then applied using the correct adhesives. On the VW T5/T6, we include the fitting of genuine full height and wide rear steps to finish off the flooring process.
